Cosmic Guidance No. 1/2026

🌟 Welcome to 2026!

Happy New Year. We made it.

And I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a strange mix of hope and realism sitting side by side in my chest right now. The world is still wild. And this year? It might get even wilder.

Especially around February 20, when Saturn meets Neptune — a moment that could bring big shifts in politics, society, and the way we relate to truth itself. Things might feel foggy. People might act out. Structures we thought were solid could start to wobble a bit.

But there’s light later on. July brings a wave of powerful transits, and when Uranus re-enters Gemini, we might finally see some long-overdue changes — maybe even financial ones — start to take shape. We can’t know for sure what the world will do… but we can hope that some of it will be for the better.

In the meantime, let’s not carry the whole world on our shoulders.

We can’t fix everything. But we can take care of our own corner of it. Our own thoughts, our reactions, our relationships. That’s where we actually have power — and where we can feel real change.

So that’s what this newsletter is here for. Each week, I’ll walk you through the small, subtle planetary shifts that might affect your mood, energy, or sense of clarity. Not the big dramatic stuff — just the kind of cosmic weather that helps explain why you feel suddenly tired, hopeful, irritated, open, emotional, or ready to move.

Because when you understand what’s going on inside you — and around you — it gets a little easier to stay steady in the storm.

Ready to take a look at this first week together?

🌕 Cosmic Guidance: January 1–7, 2026

Welcome to the first week of the new year — and it’s not exactly a gentle one.

We begin 2026 in a strange tension: your mind might feel buzzing, your body slow, and your spirit unsure whether it’s resting or rising. That’s not your fault. This sky is confusing — all motion and no direction.

With the Moon in Gemini making awkward quincunxes to the Sun and Mars on January 1, and Mercury square Neptune the same day, the thoughts are racing — but clarity is hard to find. You may feel like you should be doing something grand with your life, right this second, but you can’t quite grasp what or how.

✨ And that’s okay.

The year will ask much of you. Let this first week ask nothing. Or at least… less.

🌀 January 1–2: Fog, Fizz, and Friction

Neptune’s entrance into Capricorn on January 1 begins a long, subtle shift — a call to dream more practically, to find the soul in structure. But the present moment may feel more like static: Mercury squaring Neptune makes it easy to miscommunicate or fantasize instead of act. Gemini’s Moon dances between thoughts and tangents, leaving many of us feeling overstimulated but unsatisfied.

January 2 brings more friction: the Moon in Gemini squares Saturn and Neptune, then slips into emotional Cancer. By nightfall, Chiron goes direct — tender old wounds might sting as they resurface, especially in relationships or family dynamics.

Tip: If something feels off, don’t demand immediate answers. Let the waters settle.

🌕 January 3: Full Moon in Cancer

This is the emotional climax of the week — and it’s intense.

The Moon in Cancer opposes everything: Venus, the Sun, and Mars in Capricorn. Feelings rise while pressure builds. You may feel caught between what you want to feel and what you need to do. But the Full Moon also trines Saturn and meets expansive Jupiter, offering a moment of truth.

🕯 If you’ve been holding back your emotions, this Moon may release them.

🕯 If you’ve been pushing too hard, this Moon may say: come home to yourself.

It’s a day to nourish what matters — to cry if needed, to connect with someone you trust, to realign your inner world.

🌿 January 4–6: Shifts and Sparks

The Moon continues through Cancer, then enters Leo on January 4, squaring Pluto and Mercury. Unspoken tensions may surface — especially if you’re trying to hold it together when really… you’re ready to roar. Watch out for passive-aggressiveness or people who test your boundaries “just a little.”

On January 5–6, the Leo Moon makes a whole string of awkward quincunxes to Capricorn placements, including the Sun, Venus, and Mars. This may feel like a tug-of-war between self-expression and adulting. You want to play, but life wants to plan.

The saving grace? On January 6, the Sun and Venus finally meet in Capricorn. This is a quiet but powerful moment to get real about love, commitment, and your long-term values. Romance that’s rooted will deepen. Anything shallow may fade.

🌱 January 7: A Virgo Reset

By the 7th, the Moon in Virgo forms harmonious trines to Mercury, Sun, Venus, and Mars — all in Capricorn. A beautiful Earth–Earth connection. Tasks feel doable again. Mind and body realign. You may finally feel like: yes, I can handle this now.

Venus and Mars also meet — a lovely, grounded moment for those building something real in love or creative projects. If you’ve been patient, your rewards begin to show.

💌 Your Invitation

There is no rush. January will build in intensity — but this first week reminds us to ease in. Take your time. Cry if you must. Daydream. Restructure. Let emotions speak, then let the plan form later.

Okay, now that the big cosmic stuff is out of the way, let me tell you what’s been going on behind the scenes.

First of all — the Oracle is finally live (!!) and if you haven’t tried it yet, please do. It’s one of my favorite little features on the site, and honestly, it’s been so heartwarming to watch people click through and find messages that really speak to where they are. Pure magic. It runs directly on www.empowering-tarot.com located on the top of the page!

Now that the oracle’s done (for now), I’m fully focusing on getting the tarot course finished. It’s based on my old YouTube series, so I thought it would be a quick win — but wow, was I wrong about that. 😅 What looked easy at first turned into a slow but deep rewriting process. But I’ve accepted my fate. I’m doing it properly. And yes… way too slowly.

There’s also one more thing brewing quietly in the background — the book “Dreams That Wake You Up” (yep, the one announced on the homepage) is almost ready. It’s a kind of dream casebook, where I walk through real dreams from past clients and show how they ended up manifesting later in life. Everyone who gave me permission to include their dream has already received the writeup to approve — and most have given their green light. I’m just waiting for the last few before finishing up formatting and hitting publish. You’ll be the first to know when it goes live, of course 💛

There are so many ideas for 2026 to make the homepage more insightful, more fun, more alive — and it’s only going to get better from here. My husband is working hard behind the scenes to improve the technical side (especially loading times… the oracle slowed things down a bit — sorry! He’s on it!). If you’re curious, you can even follow him on TikTok: @donvega767.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. Thank you for growing with me.

Talk soon,

🌙
