Taking Pics for Readings
People on Reddit complain a lot about AI generated readings lately, and I totally get it. There’s no need to pay for a reading when you can use ChatGPT yourself and get the same thing cheaper or even for free.
Although I use AI image generation for this blog a lot (I’m too bad at drawing to diy the illustrations and too broke for an artist), I never use AI for readings. Cards are always drawn from physical decks, and readings are hand-written. Over time, I’ve gotten pretty creative in the ways I abuse furniture to get the perfect shot, and when I took the pic for the pick a pile I was doing today, I looked at the set up and thought, “The people who see this will NEVER know how that actually looked like”. I stood there for a second, smiling at my set-up, and decided to share it with you.

I needed to tuck that tiny carpet to a drawer and this one drawer in the bathroom was the only one with the perfect height. Also, the fur was pretty long and I was scared it would catch fire. You’ve never seen me blow out a candle so fast!
Here’s the result:

You would never guess it was taken on a bathroom floor. The carpet is neat, I think I’m gonna use it more often now.
If you’re a fan of pick a piles, it’s gonna be a new section on this blog. Hope to see you there!
Wishing you all the best,
Rahel
