🖋️ Behind the Scenes

This week, I didn’t post as much as usual — but for a good reason. I’ve been fully immersed in finishing Dreams That Wake You Up, and I’m so proud (and relieved!) to finally share it with you. A few new dream articles did make it in — especially on romantic symbols — but most of my time was spent putting the final touches on the book.

I believe this one will stay a standalone, something special — but of course, I’m already thinking about what might come next.

One idea is a dream guide focused on nightmares — not to add fear, but to bring clarity and comfort. A book to help make sense of the ones that linger.

The other is something much deeper.

It was actually my husband who brought it up — he’s Yoruba, and there’s a spiritual phenomenon from his culture that’s haunted him since childhood. He knew someone personally affected by it, and the memory still lives rent-free in his head. It’s rare, unsettling, and full of mystery. We’ve never seen it talked about outside Yoruba and Igbo traditions — but before I write a word, I’m researching to see if there are any global echoes. I want to handle it with care, and not rush.

Either way, something new is quietly forming.
